Central-Infra is a modular, multi-tier Kubernetes platform that simulates a production-grade environment entirely on a local machine. It solves the problem of practising real-world platform engineering without costly cloud infrastructure. Provisioned through Terraform and Helm across four isolated layers (cluster, platform, apps, and workloads), it features a local container registry, NGINX ingress, full Prometheus and Grafana observability, and least-privilege RBAC. Its standout capability is progressive delivery: Argo Rollouts performs automated canary deployments with traffic shifting and Prometheus-driven analysis that automatically rolls back releases when error rates spike.
